Today we were able to put down a security deposit on our apartment in midtown. The landlady said she had been telling people the apartment was already taken, because she felt that we would be buying it. Praise God for that! All of the other available apartments were taken by this point, and after much prayer, Jonathan and I knew we should make an investment now so we don't have to worry about it later.

I am still on the hunt for a job. And after sending my resume to several places, applying at Starbucks, and bugging anyone who will listen, I still don't have any leads on a job. I am still waiting to hear back from several places, so I continue to pray that I will be patient and trust in God to provide the job I need.
I have so much respect for anyone else in the same position. It's not a fun place to be, but it is continuing to teach me that God has it all planned out, and has had it all planned out for a long time.

We are going to an art show tonite and I'm tres excited :)

Hello Ms. Amanda,
You made your site so simple yet elegant. The pictures are a nice touch. I see that you need to find a job. We all do! That’s the kind of world that we live in now, a world where we need jobs just to survive and all the good ones are already taken or being outsourced. Fortunately, it isn’t going to stay this way much longer!
I want to help people to really get to know Jehovah God, especially in these troubled times. The Bible contains many important message for us such as: "...The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you." (1Thessalonians 4:6) (NIV)
